Mild Steps

Terms of Use

The early-access terms for using Mild Steps.

Last updated: May 14, 2026

These Terms of Use explain the basic rules for using Mild Steps. Mild Steps is an early-access daily planning app for routines, chores, habits, one-time tasks, ideas, notes, and small life admin.

By using Mild Steps, you agree to use it as an early-stage product. That means the app may change, contain rough edges, have temporary limitations, or be unavailable at times while it is being improved.

Early-access product

Mild Steps is not a finished commercial product. It is being developed and tested. Features, screens, translations, workflows, database structure, account behavior, import/export options, and availability may change.

You should not rely on Mild Steps as the only place where important information exists. Keep your own backup of anything essential.

Mild Steps must not be used for emergencies, urgent reminders, medical treatment decisions, safety-critical tasks, or anything where missed, delayed, incorrect, or unavailable reminders could cause harm.

What Mild Steps is

Mild Steps is a practical planning tool. It helps organize recurring tasks, reusable routines, quiet ideas, and a smaller Today view. It is designed to reduce planning friction and make returning easier after imperfect days.

Mild Steps is not a medical app, therapy service, clinical tool, emergency service, professional advice service, or safety system. It does not diagnose, treat, cure, prevent any condition, or replace professional judgment.

No emergency or safety-critical use

Do not use Mild Steps for emergencies, crisis response, urgent health or safety decisions, legal deadlines, financial deadlines, medication management, or any situation where delay, missed information, or app unavailability could cause serious harm.

Mild Steps is for ordinary personal planning. If something is urgent, critical, medical, legal, financial, or safety-related, use appropriate professional services, emergency services, official records, and your own reliable backup systems.

Your account and information

You are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for deciding what content is suitable to enter into the app. Use a strong password and do not share your account with others.

Mild Steps is intended for your own personal planning. Please do not enter information that belongs to someone else unless you have the right to do so.

You are responsible for deciding whether Mild Steps is suitable for the content you enter. Do not enter passwords, payment card numbers, government IDs, medical records, legal records, emergency information, or other highly sensitive content.

Privacy promise

We do not sell your information, share it with advertisers, or use your task content for unrelated purposes. Mild Steps stores and uses information as needed to operate the app for you, maintain the service, protect the system, and improve the early-access product.

More detail is available in the Privacy Policy and the Cookie & Analytics Notice.

Acceptable use

Please use Mild Steps in a reasonable way. You agree not to:

  • Try to break, overload, reverse engineer, or interfere with the app.
  • Use the app to store or distribute unlawful, abusive, harmful, or invasive content.
  • Access another person's account or data without permission.
  • Use the app in a way that could harm the service, other users, or the operator.
  • Attempt to bypass authentication, security, rate limits, or other protective measures.

Account suspension or removal

We may suspend or remove access if we believe an account is being used to harm the service, access other users' data, abuse the system, violate these Terms, or create legal or security risk.

Availability and changes

Because Mild Steps is early access, the app is provided as available. It may be updated, interrupted, changed, limited, or stopped. Some features may be incomplete or may behave differently after updates.

We will try to build carefully, but early-access software should be treated as something still in motion.

No guarantee of outcomes

Mild Steps can support planning, routines, and daily organization, but it cannot guarantee that a person will complete tasks, form habits, feel better, or reach any particular outcome. Your results depend on your own situation, use, and needs.

Limitation of responsibility

To the fullest extent allowed by law, Mild Steps is provided without warranties. We are not responsible for losses caused by relying on Mild Steps as the only copy of important information, by interruptions, by early-access changes, or by using the app for purposes it is not designed for.

Account changes and deletion

Account management features may evolve during early access. If you need account help, data removal, or access changes before a self-service option exists, contact the project operator at admin@mildsteps.com or by WhatsApp at +971582530063.

Changes to these terms

These Terms may be updated as Mild Steps develops. The current version will be posted on this page. Continuing to use the app after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
